This product is just what the name implies. It is “all metal” meaning it is a reflective film with no dyes for color. The visual effect is a slightly “mirrored” or silver appearance. Our “Executive” film is an all metal film type, and is becoming increasingly popular. One advantage of this film is that the lifetime warranty also covers color change, because no dye means it cannot turn purple and unlikely to fade.

Quality of Installation
Another issue to be concerned with is the installation procedure. There are shortcuts that can be taken which can affect you getting a quality tinting job. A one piece rear window is essential in almost every application. Whenever possible, the film applied on the rear window of a car should be one sheet of film heat formed to eliminate the need for multiple pieces or seams in the application that looks poor and can cause premature peeling at the seam lines. Proper cleaning of the glass before the film is applied is essential for positive film adhesion. The proper gap at the edge of the door glass is also important for a quality tinting job. Too close and the film may peel, too wide looks unprofessional when the window is rolled down.
